The catalog records should also show up if you go to http://yoursite.org/browse/ . Catalog entries are excluded from the front page to make it work better for sites that use Scriblio for both the catalog and the website CMS (all current implementations do).
Finally, the WordPress tag cloud widget won't work with Scriblio records because the subjects and other metadata aren't exactly tags. When you use the Scriblio facet widget in cloud mode, the results are basically the same as the tag cloud widget with two major differences: it shows the facet(s) you choose, and the facets it shows are based on the results of the current search.
